In the global campaign “16 active actions against violence against women” action “Let’s make the world orange!” took place December 8, 2016 in Dushanbe.
The purpose of the event is to draw public attention to stigma and discrimination, as the main reason for violence against women, to show that violence can be suffered by any woman, despite social status, age, nationality, marital status and other factors.

During the action, a quiz was held, the mobile theater was staged, the student audience was included in the discussion of the problem of violence, flash mob.
The Republic of Tajikistan, as an equal member of the world community, has ratified a number of international legislative acts, including the Universal Declaration on Human Rights and the Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination against Women, aimed at improving the status of women in society. On March 19, 2013, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan adopted the Law “On Prevention of Domestic Violence”.
