On the 23 -25 of June, 2015 in Almaty it was conducted the training on monitoring the access and quality of services for people living with HIV. In a frame of “LEADER for people living with HIV“ project, implemented by the Central Asian Association of People Living with HIV, funded by the USAID.
To participate in the training potential, including social workers, outreach workers оf non-governmental organizations, members of communities of people living with HIV were selected on a competitive basis. Were consider the experience of monitoring the quality and access of services for PLHIV and motivation. The competition was attended by representatives from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan. The tender committee has chosen 4 persons from each country. Participants gained knowledge about the services of counseling, testing and treatment of HIV, psychosocial assistance needed to support adherence to treatment.
