Meeting of the organizing committee for the preparation of the National Conference “HIV: Yesterday, Today, Tomorrow” was heldJuly 1, 2016 in Almaty. Representatives of the Central Asian Association of PLHIV and KazSoyuz of PLHIV took part in it.
The National Conference is scheduled for October 12-13, 2016 in Almaty. The Organizing Committee has determined the goals, objectives, and schedule of the event. Among the participants are representatives of state, international, non-governmental public organizations. Among the topics discussed are the situation of HIV in the Republic of Kazakhstan, the results of GFATM grants, the sustainability of prevention programs, ART, the expansion and accessibility of services to key populations and others.
